What am I listening to? Mid-Year Edition

I originally didn't want to do this post.  However, there are many songs that I love and can't stop playing that don't make my month-end lists and won't end up making my year-end lists.  If there were any songs worth a mention, I'm sure last.fm would highlight them.  So here's my half-year-end listening report.

Total Scrobbles

According to last.fm, I listened to 5,547 songs from the beginning of January to the end of June 2018.  The busiest month was June with 1,467 scrobbles and the least busy was April with 720.  Here are some more interesting stats:

  • In June

    • There were 2 days where I didn't listen to music at all
    • The day I listened to the most music was Friday the 29th with 89 scrobbles

Since my last listening report, Famous Dex and NAV have fallen out of the top 10.  The top 4 remain the same, but Drake jumps 21 Savage into the top 5 thanks to the release of his new album.  Playboi Carti gets further into the top 10 at the 7 spot thanks to all of my Die Lit plays.  Lil Yachty remains at 8, Lil Pump falls to 9 and Future remains at 10.

Not a change in the top 10 but there are many shifts within it.  Smokepurpp's Deadstar jumped to number 1.  The biggest gainer is Without Warning because I had to add up the separate scrobble counts on last.fm.  The biggest loser is BITTSM as I haven't really been interested in that one for a while.  Playboi Carti's Die Lit is only 7 scrobbles behind the LIR2 bonus tracks and could get that spot soon.

"New Freezer" by Rich The Kid and Kendrick Lamar fell out of the top 10 since my last listening report.  "God's Plan" by Drake enters the top 10 at number 8.  "Stir Fry" by Migos gains 3 spots and 2 songs lose 3 spots ("Sauce It Up" by Lil Uzi Vert / "Beef" by Ethereal).  "Walk It Talk It" and "Fingers Blue" look to get into the top 10 soon.
